Take Hwy 71 East toward
Bastrop/Columbus.

When you reach I-10 take
the curve heading West on I-10 toward Houston (The El Campo/Houston
Turn).

Take your first exit (Exit
696) - This is the continuation of Hwy 71. Take a right onto Hwy 71 and
head East.

Go straight on 71 for
about 30 miles. You'll see a sign on your right for FM 1300.

Take a right onto FM
1300. (If you reach Jack's Conoco station, or a Wal-Mart on your
left, you've gone too far).

Head down FM 1300 for 5.7
miles.

You'll come to a stop sign
at the junction with FM 1160. Take a left.

About 200 yards ahead on
your right is the continuation of FM 1300. Take a right onto FM
1300.

Head down FM 1300 for 10.3
miles. You'll pass a church on your left, then El Rancho de Los
Platos on your right. There will be a curve to the right, then a
curve to the left. Then you'll pass over a bridge. After
the bridge there will be a big curve to the left and a big curve to
the right. After those two curves, the turnoff for the ranch is
just ahead on the right.

You'll see the sign for
County Road 397. Take a right onto Co Rd 397.

Take that left turn and
head another 0.8 miles to a right turn/curve. Take that right
turn/curve.

Head another 0.9 miles to
a left curve followed about 100 yards ahead by a right curve.
