The land company built a hotel in Ganado to house their clients who came 
to buy, mostly from the northern states.   They took them in surreys out to 
see the prospective city and showed them a railroad grade which promised 
to eventually bring the tracks in from Glen Flora.  Traces of it can still be 
found.  Eventually a two story hotel (pictured above) was built in Provident 
City.  It was run by the Terrels & P.M. Beaudry.  The Provident City hotel 
still stands today.
